Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 22 July 2025, Director of the Pharmaceutical Industry Development Agency of Uzbekistan, Abdulla Azizov, held a meeting with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Türkiye to Uzbekistan, Ufuk Ulutaş.

As part of the visit, the delegation toured the Tashkent Pharma Park — an innovative scientific and industrial pharmaceutical cluster. During the meeting, the two sides discussed prospects for expanding cooperation between Uzbekistan and Türkiye in the pharmaceutical sector.

Key discussion points included attracting Turkish investment into Uzbekistan’s pharmaceutical industry, strengthening research and academic collaboration, training and upskilling pharmaceutical professionals, certifying halal pharmaceutical products, and promoting Uzbek-made pharmaceuticals in Türkiye and other international markets.

Both parties agreed to develop joint projects in these areas and to continue practical cooperation through the relevant agencies and institutions.
