Uzbek-Omani Business Forum held in Muscat
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — As part of a visit by a delegation of Uzbek women entrepreneurs to the Sultanate of Oman, organized by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan, the Uzbek-Omani Business Forum was held. The event gathered over 100 representatives from the business communities of both countries.
The forum was inaugurated by the head of the Women’s Association of the Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Siham Al-Harthi, Deputy Chairperson of the Uzbekistan Chamber of Commerce and Industry Nodira Shotursunova, and Uzbekistan’s Ambassador to Oman, Abdusalom Khatamov.
Participants were provided with detailed insights into ongoing reforms in both countries, favorable business conditions, and the investment and export potential of Uzbekistan and Oman.
The event served as an important platform for strengthening trade and economic ties, discussing cooperation prospects, and exploring joint projects.
Following the forum, Uzbek and Omani business representatives held B2B meetings, resulting in agreements to further develop partnerships.
