Uzbek Minister of Agriculture discusses agricultural cooperation with Jingu
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Minister of Agriculture of Uzbekistan, Ibrokhim Abdurakhmonov, held a meeting with Mr. Chen Wang, Chairman of Jingu, a company operating under China’s Lihua Group.
The meeting focused on the comprehensive development of bilateral cooperation in the agricultural sector, the current status of existing joint projects, and their future prospects.
At the outset, both parties noted that agricultural cooperation between Uzbekistan and China has significantly strengthened in recent years, particularly in cotton cultivation and seed production, where substantial progress has already been achieved.
During the discussion on Jingu’s ongoing projects in Uzbekistan, the two sides exchanged views on emerging issues and proposed solutions to overcome current challenges and enhance the effectiveness of collaboration.
It was agreed that the partnership would be elevated to a new, more advanced level.
The sides also explored the prospects for new initiatives, including joint scientific research, knowledge exchange, cultivation of high-yield seed varieties, and the implementation of modern agricultural technologies.
At the conclusion of the meeting, both parties reaffirmed their intention to deepen their strategic partnership in agriculture, expand existing projects, and support the introduction of new initiatives.
