Uzbek gymnasts for the first time climbed the podium at the World Championships

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- From 7 to 9 July, the Rhythmic Gymnastics World Youth Championship was held in the Romanian city of Cluj-Napoca. The national team of Uzbekistan participating in it won 2 bronze medals.

As for the results of the competition, Anastasia Sarantseva climbed to the third step of the podium in exercises with a hoop, Michelle Nesterova won a bronze award in exercises with a ribbon. It is worth noting that this was the first ascent of Uzbek athletes to the podium in the history of the World Rhythmic Gymnastics Championships.
