Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — A delegation of over 60 business representatives from Uzbekistan, led by the country’s Chamber of Commerce and Industry, is taking part in the international Makkah Halal Forum 2025, currently being held in Makkah, Saudi Arabia.

According to Uzbekistan’s Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the forum features an international exhibition showcasing products and services from national pavilions representing more than 10 countries. The event has attracted leaders from 21 chambers of commerce, representatives from 180 companies across 120 countries, and over 6,000 participants.

The Uzbekistan national pavilion has emerged as one of the most active participants in the forum, with around 30 leading Uzbek companies presenting their products and services. The exhibition covers key sectors such as food production, agriculture, textiles, tourism, pharmaceuticals, and services.

Uzbek companies’ products have generated significant interest among forum participants, with several promising agreements expected to be signed and new business partnerships established.

During the forum, the Uzbek delegation is holding key meetings to discuss expanding exports of halal products, simplifying certification processes, accessing new markets, and implementing investment projects.

This event provides new opportunities for Uzbek companies to enter international markets, establish partnerships, explore cutting-edge technologies, and gain insights from global best practices.
