Uzbek Companies Sign New Agreements at ACLE-2025 in Shanghai

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The All China Leather Exhibition (ACLE-2025), held at Shanghai’s largest exhibition center, is recognized as a key platform shaping the future of the global leather industry.

At the initiative of Uzbekistan’s Ministry of Investments, Industry, and Trade, and with the support of the Uzcharmsanoat Association, the country presented a national pavilion that drew significant interest from international partners.

Nafis Charm held talks with representatives of the Italian organization Assomac. After reviewing samples of Uzbek products, the Italian specialists praised their quality and craftsmanship, discussing prospects for collaboration in technology modernization, knowledge exchange, and educational programs for young professionals.

DSM International also conducted active negotiations, attracting the attention of Italian company Italeather. The semi-finished leather products displayed at the pavilion generated particular interest.

Hamkor Nur Savdo met with Chinese company SinoBio, focusing discussions on environmentally sustainable production. As the use of chemicals in the leather industry becomes a global concern, this meeting gained special significance. SinoBio introduced eco-friendly technologies and chemical materials, and the Uzbek side expressed readiness to test them. Successful trials could open new opportunities for sustainable development of the industry in Uzbekistan.

Foreign companies indicated their willingness to sign export contracts exceeding $15 million, contingent on positive testing results.

Thus, Uzbekistan’s participation in ACLE-2025 goes beyond a simple product showcase, transforming the event into a platform for substantive negotiations, new initiatives, and expanded access to global markets.
