Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Culinary tourism has firmly established itself as a key aspect of modern travel, offering not only the chance to enjoy the unique flavors of regional cuisine but also to delve deeper into the culture and traditions of a particular place.
A vivid example of such cultural exchange was the participation of the Uzbekistan Chefs Association team, supported by the Tourism Committee, in one of the region’s most prestigious culinary competitions — the “Golden Shah 2025” championship, held from 13 to 16 May at the Baku Expo Center in Azerbaijan.
The event was organized with the support of Worldchefs and the Azerbaijan Culinary Specialists Association.
More than a hundred participants from various countries took part in the championship, including Türkiye, Croatia, Kazakhstan, Singapore, Serbia, and others.
The competition was intense, with each team demonstrating exceptional skill and a creative approach to the culinary arts.
Despite the high level of rivalry, the Uzbekistan Chefs Association team performed confidently and earned well-deserved prizes in several categories.
