Uzbek Ambassador discusses investment projects with Malaysia’s Sparco Engineering
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Uzbekistan’s Ambassador, Karomiddin Gadoyev, met with Raja Arif, Project Director of the Malaysian company Sparco Engineering, according to a report by Dunyo news agency.
The parties discussed prospects for implementing investment projects in Uzbekistan. Raja Arif noted that his company is exploring the possibility of launching three new projects in the country's chemical industry.
One of them involves the production of formaldehyde, which is used in the manufacturing of plastics, pharmaceuticals, disinfectants, and UFC85, a component essential for laminated materials, plywood, and the textile industry. Additionally, they discussed projects related to the production of titanium dioxide and maleic acid.
As a result of the meeting, an agreement was reached on a visit to Uzbekistan by a working group from Sparco Engineering, including company executives and technical specialists. Their objective will be to initiate practical work on the planned projects.
