Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — During his visit to the Hungarian capital Budapest, Uzbekistan’s Minister of Agriculture, Ibrokhim Abdurakhmonov, held a meeting with Robert Laczkó, head of the company ZKI LTD.

The two sides discussed establishing cooperation in the supply of vegetable seeds to Uzbekistan and the implementation of joint projects.

Special emphasis was placed on fostering direct interaction between research institutes and farmers, aimed at achieving more efficient and timely results through collaborative efforts.

It was noted that Uzbekistan has already established partnerships with several Hungarian companies, including Agrocontinet, Agrohouse, and Caravex, which supply seeds for crops such as melon, watermelon, cucumber, pepper, corn, and beans.

The meeting also included proposals for expanding the scope of cooperation and taking it to a new level. The parties agreed on the implementation of large-scale projects in the near future.
