Turkmen President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov highly marked Uzbek President Islam Karimov’s recent visit to Ashgabat at a cabinet meeting on 19 October .
"This visit has started a new phase in the Turkmen-Uzbek cooperation which from now on will be very close in all key areas," the head of state said.
In this context, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov demanded that all state executives fulfill in a timely manner the Turkmen side’s obligations under the bilateral documents signed in Ashgabat, the Turkmen State News Service (TDH) reports.
