Three New Microfinance Institutions Registered in Uzbekistan
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The Central Bank of Uzbekistan has added three new microfinance institutions to the national register: Fanavvd Mikromoliya Tashkiloti, Multifinance, and Impact Finance Leaders, according to a statement from the regulator's press service.
Fanavvd Mikromoliya Tashkiloti was established in March 2025 with an authorized capital of 2 billion soums. The company specializes in “other types of lending.”
Multifinance, founded in May 2025, also focuses on other types of lending, with an authorized capital of 2.01 billion soums.
Impact Finance Leaders, registered in March 2025, has an authorized capital of 2.62 billion soums and likewise engages in other forms of lending.
As of mid-June 2025, Uzbekistan had a total of 121 registered microfinance institutions.
According to 2024 year-end results, the volume of issued microloans and microcredits in the country grew significantly, reaching 45.83 trillion soums in microloans and 17.4 trillion soums in microcredits.
In addition, the net profit of microfinance institutions and pawnshops in Uzbekistan exceeded 1 trillion soums for the first time last year, indicating the rapid growth of the sector.
