Tashkent Metro Denies Rumors of Child Being Pushed Out of Train
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 26 June 2025, at approximately 6:00 PM, an incident involving a young passenger occurred at the Pakhtakor metro station in Tashkent.
According to the Tashkent Metro Administration, a three-year-old girl had her foot caught in the train door due to the inattentiveness of the accompanying adult while exiting the train.
The child was immediately provided with first aid, and an ambulance was called to the scene. Fortunately, the girl did not suffer any serious injuries.
The metro administration also denied social media reports claiming the child had been “pushed out of the train.” “This information is false and does not reflect the actual events,” the official statement emphasized.
Metro authorities urged passengers to be especially vigilant and cautious when traveling with children, particularly during boarding and disembarking.
