Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Passengers at Tashkent International Airport were treated to an unexpected yet truly uplifting surprise: a live musical flashmob performed by the talented young artists of the R.M. Glière Republican Specialized Music School, known online as the instrumental boyband music.glier.

The ensemble — made up of Asliddin Olimjonov, Saidjon Shirinov, Dostonbek Rustamov, and Saidburkhon Saidakhmedov — has gained a strong following on Instagram for their vibrant renditions of global and local hits. The idea to bring their performance out of the classroom and into a dynamic public space came from the cultural platform Afisha.uz.

"When our colleagues at Afisha.uz suggested organizing a flashmob with music.glier at the airport, we immediately agreed. We knew such an event would touch the hearts of both travelers and the musicians themselves. Over the years, the airport has hosted dance and opera flashmobs, but these young talents received an especially warm response," noted the Uzbekistan Airports press service.

The performance featured live interpretations of iconic movie soundtracks as well as popular Uzbek and international songs, transforming the terminal into a space filled with raw emotion, joy, and unforgettable energy. The young virtuosos captivated passersby, creating a musical moment that turned an ordinary travel day into a memorable cultural experience.
