Shavkat Mirziyoyev to Take Part in Azerbaijan–Turkmenistan–Uzbekistan Trilateral Summit

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 22 August, at the invitation of the National Leader of the Turkmen People, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev will pay a working visit to Turkmenistan to participate in the trilateral summit in the format “Azerbaijan – Turkmenistan – Uzbekistan.”

The forum will be held in the Avaza National Tourist Zone. Its agenda includes the further expansion and deepening of multifaceted cooperation, with a particular focus on trade and economic relations, transport and communications, energy, and humanitarian areas. A number of joint documents are expected to be signed following the talks.

In addition, the President of Uzbekistan will hold bilateral meetings on the sidelines of the summit.
