SHARE Architects to Hold First International Architecture Forum in Uzbekistan
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 22–23 September, Tashkent will host the inaugural SHARE Uzbekistan International Forum on Architecture and Urban Development, featuring 30 leading architects from 15 countries.
Among the participants are representatives from renowned architectural firms including Bjarke Ingels Group (Denmark), Zaha Hadid Architects (UK), XTU Architects (France), MAD Architects (China), and others.
For nearly three decades, the international platform SHARE Architects has brought together architects, engineers, and contractors from Central and Eastern Europe and the Caucasus. The Tashkent forum is set to open a new chapter in professional dialogue in Central Asia.
According to Deputy Minister of Construction and Housing and Communal Services of Uzbekistan, Davronjon Adilov, the event will serve as “a unique platform for experience exchange and professional development, enabling the harmonious integration of international practices into the national architectural school.”
The forum will highlight global interest in Uzbekistan’s urban transformations, including “smart” and sustainable city projects. Participants will discuss cooperation prospects, adaptive architecture, modern façade solutions, ecological construction, and the design of human-centered spaces.
The two-day program will focus on urbanism and the role of public buildings in city development on the first day, while the second day will emphasize the concept of “living architecture” — spaces that promote restoration, interaction, and human well-being.
Organizers expect over 250 participants, including architects, engineers, developers, and construction technology suppliers. The forum is supported by the Ministry of Construction and Housing and Communal Services of Uzbekistan, official partner Manar Development, and other national and international companies and professional associations.
Immediately following the Tashkent forum, SHARE Kazakhstan will take place in Almaty on 24–25 September 2025.
