Senate appoints new envoy of Uzbekistan to Japan

In line with the resolution of the Senate, Farrukh Tursunov has been appointed to the post of the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Uzbekistan to Japan.

Prior to appointment, Farrukh Tursunov had worked as the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Uzbekistan to Kazakhstan.

At this post, Farrukh Tursunov will replace Hamidulla Karamatov, who headed the mission of Uzbekistan in Japan.
