Second Uzbek-Chinese Interregional Forum to be held in Samarkand
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 1–2 June 2025, the Second Uzbek-Chinese Interregional Forum will take place in Samarkand at the international tourist center Silk Road Samarkand. This large-scale event aims to deepen strategic partnership, expand interregional cooperation, and strengthen investment and business ties between the two countries.
The forum will gather over 1,500 participants, including representatives from business circles, government bodies, regional administrations, as well as scientific and educational institutions of Uzbekistan and China.
The main goal of the event is to create a sustainable platform for constructive dialogue and launch new joint projects, while stimulating the development of trade, economic, investment, and scientific-technical cooperation.
Special emphasis will be placed on practical interaction at the regional level, support for small and medium-sized enterprises, promotion of high technologies, digital transformation, the “green” economy, and expansion of humanitarian ties, including culture and education.
The forum program includes plenary sessions, thematic panel discussions, B2B, G2B, and G2G meetings, as well as an exhibition of joint products. Dedicated sessions will focus on agriculture, education and innovation, and the development of women’s entrepreneurship.
Bilateral agreements are expected to be signed during the forum, along with the launch of new investment initiatives, marking a significant contribution to strengthening comprehensive partnership between the regions of Uzbekistan and provinces of the People’s Republic of China, reflecting a high level of trust and mutual interest in long-term cooperation.
