The programme of the visit includes participation in an economic forum on strategic partnership. An intergovernmental commission on economic cooperation between the two countries is also planned to take place.
Besides, a Russian industry and business exhibition starts in Tashkent. Sergey Ivanov is to attend the launch of the Hauzak gas deposit in southwestern Bukhara region, a joint Uzbek-Russian project which was planned to start this year.
