Prospects for Cooperation with Pakistani Companies Discussed
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — A meeting was held at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan with leaders of major Pakistani companies operating in the leather industry. The event was attended by Dilshod Rasulov, Deputy Chairman of the Chamber, and Akbar Sultonov, Chairman of the “Uzcharmsanoat” Association.
The Pakistani delegation included heads of prominent companies such as Alliance Plus Co./Pak Overseas Enterprises, Mamba Fashion, Jannat Leather Industries, Fahim Brothers, MD Tannery Works, Saeed Leather, and Palm & Finger Co.
During the meeting, the parties discussed investment opportunities, tax and customs incentives, the creation of joint ventures, and issues related to the re-export of products to markets in Central Asia and Russia. Special attention was given to the introduction of modern leather processing technologies and the training of qualified personnel.
It was noted that implementing joint projects with Pakistan would increase bilateral trade volumes and create opportunities for producing competitive products for regional markets.
The meeting marked an important step in strengthening economic cooperation between Uzbekistan and Pakistan, opening new prospects for investment, technology exchange, and expanded trade relations.
