Procedure Defined for Issuing Vouchers for Vocational Training and Foreign Language Learning

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The government of Uzbekistan has approved the procedure for issuing vouchers for vocational training and foreign language learning. The corresponding Resolution No. 527 was signed on 20 August 2025.

According to the document, training expenses will be covered for unemployed citizens, including members of families listed in the “Register of Low-Income Families,” as well as individuals without official income.

The vouchers are provided under a new system introduced by the Ministry of Employment and Poverty Reduction.

An electronic register of educational organizations offering voucher-based training is maintained on the platform ecosys.mehnat.uz. Applications for vouchers can be submitted at district and city departments of the ministry, through hokim assistants in mahallas, as well as online via the ecosys.mehnat.uz portal.

Within one day, the applicant receives information about available vacancies in their field. If the citizen does not have a profession or is not satisfied with the proposed job, the issue of providing a voucher is considered.

For this purpose, the system conducts a scoring process: if the candidate belongs to one of the established categories, they are granted the right to training. The voucher must be used within three months.

Citizens who receive a voucher are entitled to undergo one free training program in a chosen profession or foreign language.
