President of Uzbekistan to visit Kazakhstan

The sides are believed to discuss extension and deepening of the bilateral cooperation between Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan and problems of regional and international character.

Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan signed above 100 documents including the Treaty on Eternal Friendship between the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Republic of Kazakhstan as of 31 October 1998.

Kazakhstan attaches great importance to development of the political, economic, cultural and humanitarian cooperation with Uzbekistan. The commodity turnover between the countries made US$1 billion in 2007.
