President Mirziyoyev Approves Personnel Changes in the Presidential Administration

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — A series of new personnel appointments and reassignments have taken place within the Presidential Administration of the Republic of Uzbekistan, as announced by the President’s press secretary Sherzod Asadov.

According to the presidential decree, Bekzod Mavlonovich Mavlonov has been appointed Assistant to the President of Uzbekistan. In connection with this new role, he has been relieved of his previous position as Advisor to the President on legal expertise and comprehensive analysis. Mavlonov has previously held several high-ranking posts, including Head of the Department of Legal Expertise and Comprehensive Analysis of the Presidential Administration, Deputy State Advisor, and Deputy Prosecutor General of Uzbekistan.

Another appointment involves Aziz Yuldashevich Magrupov, who has become Advisor to the President on Foreign Investments. He had served as the President’s Assistant since 2018 and was released from that position due to this new assignment.

Earlier, it was announced that Saida Mirziyoyeva, formerly Assistant to the President, was appointed to the newly created position of Head of the Presidential Administration.

In addition, Komil Allamjonov has been appointed as an independent advisor to Saida Mirziyoyeva. He will provide advisory support on a voluntary basis in several strategically important areas, including the development of the innovation economy, investment attraction, freedom of speech, and support for independent media.

By the same presidential decree, several officials have been dismissed from their positions within the Presidential Administration.

Saidlaziz Saidkarimov has been relieved of his post as Head of the Inspection Department of the Presidential Administration due to a transition to another role.

A similar decision applies to Utkirjon Kodirov, formerly Head of the Department for Regional Engagement and Analytical Materials.

Jahongir Ibragimov has also been dismissed from his post as Deputy Head of the Department for Planning and Information Support under the same grounds.
