Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — A new high-tech air conditioner manufacturing plant has been launched by Premier Elechtrotech in the Eltech Industrial Technopark in Akhangaran.

The facility spans 10 hectares, with production buildings covering over 40,000 square meters. The plant is designed to produce up to 300,000 air conditioners annually under the Premier brand. Investment in the project has already reached US$30 million.

Special emphasis is being placed on production localization: the current rate stands at 40%, with plans to increase it to 70% within the next three years. Once fully operational, the plant will create around 500 jobs.

The project leverages international expertise, with leading specialists from Italy and China involved in the production process. Premier’s partners in the venture include global industry leaders TCL, Aux, and Changhong.
