Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Uzbekistan has successfully completed its first pilot road freight delivery along the Uzbekistan–Kyrgyzstan–China–Mongolia route. The initiative is aimed at expanding export opportunities for domestic producers and developing new international logistics corridors.

The project was organized by the Ministry of Transport in cooperation with the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan. Its main objective is to facilitate access for Uzbek products to new foreign markets and to test logistics along newly established transnational routes.

A cargo truck operated by a national carrier covered a distance of 4,500 kilometers over eight days, traversing challenging terrain in the Altai Mountains, where the road rises to an elevation of up to 1,500 meters above sea level.
