Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Abdullah Azizov, Director of the Pharmaceutical Industry Development Agency of Uzbekistan, held a meeting with representatives of the Pakistani company Pharmatec.

During the talks, the head of the Agency gave a detailed presentation to the guests on the potential of the innovative scientific and industrial pharmaceutical cluster Tashkent Pharma Park, the investment environment, as well as the incentives and preferences provided by the state.

Pharmatec’s management, expressing strong interest and appreciation for the information presented, praised the reforms undertaken by the Government of Uzbekistan to develop the pharmaceutical sector.

As a result of the meeting, Pharmatec representatives confirmed their interest in the project and stated that they are currently assessing the prospects for establishing production facilities within the Pharma Park.
