Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — In January–February 2025, Uzbekistan significantly increased its peanut exports. According to the National Statistics Committee, 2,956 tons of peanuts were exported to foreign countries during the first two months of the year, amounting to $2.9 million.

Compared to the same period in 2024, exports grew by 953.4 tons, or 47.6%, indicating a rise in demand for Uzbek products on the international market and strengthening the country's position as a supplier of agricultural goods.

The main importers of Uzbek peanuts are neighboring countries in the region and Asia. Leading the list is Kazakhstan, which received 984.8 tons of peanuts.

Other major importers include Pakistan (496.9 tons), Azerbaijan (371.8 tons), China (268.1 tons), and Russia (244.5 tons). The remaining 589.9 tons were exported to other countries.
