Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Between January and June 2025, 28,538 individuals received subsidies totaling 63.5 billion soums from the State Budget for electricity supplied to the national power grid, according to Uzbekistan’s Tax Committee.

The largest payouts were recorded in Khorezm Region — 19.1 billion soums, the Republic of Karakalpakstan — 9.7 billion soums, and Tashkent City — 4.9 billion soums.

Subsidies can be transferred to a bank card through the Soliq mobile application by using the “Cashback and Benefits” service in the Solar Home section.

It should be recalled that under a government resolution effective from April 1, 2023, as part of the Solar Home program, individuals receive a subsidy of 1,000 soums from the State Budget for each kilowatt-hour of electricity generated by their solar panels and supplied to the national power system.
