Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — An official welcoming ceremony was held in Mongolia for the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, who arrived on a state visit.

In a solemn setting on Sukhbaatar Square, President Mirziyoyev and his spouse were greeted by President of Mongolia Ukhnaagiin Khürelsükh and the First Lady of Mongolia.

An honor guard was lined up in tribute to the visit. A military band performed the national anthems of Uzbekistan and Mongolia. The two leaders reviewed the guard of honor and greeted members of the official delegations.

Following the ceremony, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev signed the guest book at the State Palace of Mongolia, leaving a commemorative message.

After a joint photo session, the leaders of both countries proceeded to high-level talks.
