Number of MTS Uzbekistan subscribers reaches 7.43m

Mobile TeleSystems OJSC, largest mobile communication operator in Russia and the CIS states, said the subscribers base grew by 0.7% or 50,000 users compared to March 2010.

Number of subscribers of the company rose by 17.8% or 1.12 million compared to the same period of 2009, the operator said.

Consolidated subscribers’ number of Mobile TeleSystems made up 98.65 million at the end of April.
