Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The Research Financial Institute of the Ministry of Finance of the Russian Federation (NIIFI) and the Institute of Budget and Taxation Scientific Research under the Ministry of Economy and Finance of the Republic of Uzbekistan (IBNII) signed a Memorandum of Understanding on April 24, 2025, in Tashkent.

The document was signed by NIIFI Director Vladimir Nazarov and Deputy Director of IBNII Shukhrat Shukurov.

The primary goal of the Memorandum is to establish a legal and organizational foundation for the active development of cooperation in the field of scientific research and educational programs between the two institutions.

As part of this cooperation, various forms of interaction are envisaged, including the exchange of analytical information, joint publication of scientific articles, internships, participation in conferences, and other activities aimed at expanding scientific and educational ties.

Also present at the signing ceremony was the Deputy Minister of Economy and Finance of Uzbekistan, Akhadebek Khaydarov. Both sides emphasized that this cooperation would make a significant contribution to the economic development of both countries.

“The signing of this Memorandum is a logical continuation of our institutions’ interaction, which has completed a five-year cycle. Starting today, we are opening a new stage of cooperation focused on the exchange of experiences and knowledge between NIIFI and IBNII,” said Deputy Director of IBNII Shukhrat Shukurov.
