Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — A new transformer manufacturing plant was inaugurated on 1 August in the city of Angren, Tashkent region. The project was implemented in cooperation between JSC Regional Electric Networks and the Uzbek-Chinese joint venture LLC Holley Technology Ltd.

The plant is equipped with modern machinery from Holley Technology and designed to produce up to 15,000 transformers annually of various capacities. Its production line includes transformers ranging from 25 to 3,150 kVA for distribution networks of 6–10 kV, as well as transformers from 100 to 2,500 kVA for 35 kV networks.

The project has created over 150 new jobs, providing an additional boost to the socio-economic development of the region.
