Navoi Airport Receives First MIAT Cargo Flight Carrying Purebred Sheep from Mongolia
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Navoi Airport has welcomed the first cargo flight operated by MIAT Mongolian Airlines Cargo.
On 27 August, as part of bilateral cooperation between Uzbekistan and Mongolia, the aircraft delivered 26.8 tons of purebred sheep.
By the end of 2025, MIAT Cargo plans to operate 106 flights, transporting live animals from Mongolia to Uzbekistan and agricultural products on the return route.
Previously, flights on the Ulaanbaatar–Navoi route were operated by KAP KG Airlines, which will continue to provide services.
MIAT Cargo is the freight division of the Mongolian state airline MIAT Mongolian Airlines, specializing in cargo transportation.
