Natural gas production in Uzbekistan declined by 2% in January–April 2025
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — From January to April 2025, Uzbekistan produced 15.02 billion cubic meters of natural gas, which is 2% less compared to the same period of last year.
According to data provided by the National Statistics Committee, gas production in the first four months of 2024 amounted to 15.32 billion cubic meters.
Volumes of gas condensate production also decreased by 8.67%, totaling 395.2 thousand tons.
At the same time, the coal mining sector showed significant growth: in January–April 2025, the country extracted 1.77 million tons of coal, exceeding the figure for the same period last year by 33.44%.
Regarding oil production, a decline was recorded. During the specified period, oil output amounted to 214.3 thousand tons, which is 11.19% less than the previous year.
