Nasaf, who conquered Kuwait Sports Club 2-1last month to become the first team from Uzbekistan to win an AFC competition title, where playing their third match in a nine day period as Anatoliy Demianenko's had to make up for all the domestic rescheduling due to their continental exploits.
Nasaf followed their AFC Cup triumph with a 2-1 home win over Qizilqim before hammering Andijan 4-0 on the road meaning a point against Pakhtakor would see them finish runners-up to Bunyodkor at the expense of the Tashkent giants.
However, Sherzod Karimov's sixth-minute opener looked to have sealed the win for Pakhtakor only for Jahongir Jiyamuradov, scorer of Nasaf's winner in the first-leg of the AFC Cup semi-final against Al Wehdat, to equalize with a 90th minute penalty.
