Mongolian Hunnu Air to launch flights to Uzbekistan in September

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Uzbekistan Airports held the second round of negotiations with the Mongolian airline Hunnu Air. The airline's CEO, Purevjav Munkhjalgal, arrived in Tashkent for the meeting.

During the negotiations, organizational issues related to the launch of direct regular passenger flights between Tashkent and Ulaanbaatar were discussed. According to preliminary agreements, flights are expected to begin in September this year, with a frequency of twice a week. The flights will be operated on Embraer 190 aircraft.

The CEO of Hunnu Air emphasized that Tashkent is viewed not only as an attractive tourist and business destination but also as a potential transit hub, providing passengers from Mongolia and neighboring countries with broad opportunities for further air travel to various regions.

Hunnu Air is a private Mongolian airline founded in 2011. Its headquarters are located in Ulaanbaatar, with the base airport being Chinggis Khaan International Airport. The airline operates domestic and international flights using ATR 72-500 and Embraer 190 aircraft.
