Mirziyoyev Discusses Renewable Energy and Building Materials Projects with China’s CNBM

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — As part of the business program of his official visit to China, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, held a meeting in Beijing with Zhou Yuxian, Chairman of the Board of China National Building Materials (CNBM).

During the talks, the parties discussed CNBM’s plans to implement projects for the modernization of pumping stations, construction of wind and solar power plants, development of energy storage systems, and localization of component production for renewable energy facilities.

Special attention was given to CNBM’s participation in programs aimed at improving energy efficiency at industrial enterprises.

To accelerate the practical implementation of the agreements reached, a dedicated “roadmap” will be developed.

CNBM is among the world’s 500 largest companies and is one of the leading conglomerates in building materials production, renewable energy development, and engineering-technical solutions.
