Memorandum signed between Uzcharmsanoat and Guangdong Shoes Association
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — At the international exhibition Shoes & Leather – Guangzhou 2025, representatives of Uzbekistan’s leather industry not only showcased their national products but also actively engaged in industrial diplomacy, strengthening foreign economic ties and expanding horizons for international cooperation.
As part of the exhibition’s business program, bilateral meetings were held with leading Chinese footwear and leather goods manufacturers, industry associations, and design bureaus, including YISUN, Chiao Hong Shoes, Guangzhou Footwear Association, as well as The Leather Experts company from Bangladesh.
Uzbek exporters DSM International, Top Quality Brand, and Nafis Charm presented a wide range of finished products. High interest from companies in China, Vietnam, Bangladesh, and Taiwan was driven by the quality of Uzbek goods, eco-friendly leather processing technologies, and potential opportunities for cooperation in the OEM format.
A landmark event was the signing of a memorandum of cooperation between the Uzcharmsanoat Association and the Guangdong Shoes Manufacturers Association. The document provides for the development of technology exchange, implementation of educational programs, as well as the organization of regular trade missions and business visits.
During the exhibition, the Uzbek delegation conducted substantive negotiations on expanding export supplies, aligning with international certification standards, and developing effective branding strategies focused on the markets of East and Southeast Asia.
Participation in the Shoes & Leather – Guangzhou exhibition marked an important milestone in promoting domestic leather products and opened new prospects for shaping a modern trade geography and industrial cooperation on a global scale.
