Legislative Chamber Adopts Draft Law “On Administrative Procedures”

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — In its second reading, the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis has considered the draft law “On Administrative Procedures.”

The law establishes clear procedures for interactions between citizens and business entities with state authorities, aiming to protect their rights and legitimate interests from unlawful actions by government officials.

It creates a unified and transparent mechanism for administrative procedures and includes provisions designed to prevent corruption within these processes.

The draft was carefully discussed with the participation of relevant ministries and agencies, as well as experts and legal specialists. Necessary amendments and additions were made based on proposals from political party factions and deputies.

Special attention was given to eliminating potential contradictions and ambiguities in the application of legal norms.

The purpose of these refinements is to ensure clear and uniform enforcement of the law, as well as to strengthen the rule of law in relations between citizens and state bodies.

The draft law was adopted by deputies in its third reading and submitted for consideration to the Senate.
