Kyrgyzstan plans to build a new railway to Uzbekistan
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Kyrgyzstan is considering a transnational railway project that will connect the country with Uzbekistan.
According to the National Development Program of Kyrgyzstan until 2030, plans are in place for the construction of the Batken–Kokand railway line.
The main goal of the project is to create new jobs and boost trade between the two countries. However, details regarding the construction timeline and implementation have not yet been disclosed.
