Khokim of Ferghana meets delegation from Rotary Club of Tokyo Waseda to discuss cooperation
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Khokim of Ferghana Region Khairullo Bozorov held a meeting with a delegation from the Japanese organization Rotary Club of Tokyo Waseda. During the talks, it was noted that the trusting relations between the leadership of Uzbekistan and Japan in recent years have fostered cooperation across various sectors.
Special attention was given to expanding contacts between Ferghana Region and Japanese entrepreneurs, as well as introducing aspects of the Japanese education system in several local schools. The parties also discussed issues related to women’s employment, enhancing their economic participation, and expanding opportunities in digitalization.
During their first visit to Uzbekistan, the Japanese delegation plans to explore the region’s areas of activity and familiarize themselves with initiatives supporting women’s entrepreneurship and employment. Following the meeting, an agreement was reached to develop mutually beneficial cooperation.
