JICA hands over three excavators to Uzbekistan
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) --
A ceremony of handing over of agriculture equipment was held within the joint technical cooperation project of JICA and the Ministry of Agriculture and Water Management of Uzbekistan “Improvement of water management in Uzbekistan”.
The ceremony was held at the Association of Water Consumers “Jambul Ota” in Yuqori-Chirchiq district of Tashkent region.
Within the technical project, three excavators of Jingong JG608C model worth US$184,800 were handed over to Uzbekistan for free. Jizzakh region, Syrdarya region and Tashkent region will get one excavator each.
The equipment will be used to cleaning of channels and collectors, construction and repair of hydraulic establishments. They will help to improve works of the Associations of Water Consumers and improve their financial conditions.
