International “Uzum Sayli” Festival Concludes in Parkent District
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 22–23 August, Parkent district of Tashkent region hosted the international “Uzum Sayli” festival, organized with the support of the Tourism Committee and the regional hokimiyat. The event brought together representatives of viticulture and the winemaking industry from over 30 countries.
Delegations from Indonesia, Türkiye, Serbia, Russia, South Korea, Singapore, Belarus, Georgia, Azerbaijan, and other countries participated, alongside scientists, experts, and leading industry specialists.

Awards included diplomas and valuable prizes. Among regions, Jizzakh region took first place, while Yukorichirchik district ranked highest among districts and cities.
The festival’s business program featured agricultural fairs, exhibitions of international winemaking brands, and international conferences and forums focused on viticulture development.
The cultural program included performances by national folk ensembles and pop artists, republican competitions, exhibitions of handicrafts, national cuisine and costumes, as well as displays showcasing the rich traditions and customs of the Uzbek people.
Organizers emphasized that the festival served as an important platform for experience exchange, promotion of national brands, and expansion of international cooperation in the viticulture industry.
