Innovative superfast charging system for electric vehicles launched in Tashkent
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — A high-voltage charging station for electric vehicles with superfast charging support was officially launched at the IT Park Uzbekistan. The project was implemented in collaboration between "O‘ZIMPEKSALOQA" and Huawei Corporation, with the support of the Ministry of Digital Technologies of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
The new infrastructure is designed to promote the development of "green" technologies, expand the network of charging stations, and increase the accessibility of eco-friendly transportation. The introduction of such solutions aligns with global sustainability trends and the active growth of the electric vehicle market in Uzbekistan.
The charging station, based on Huawei's FusionCharge Solution, is equipped with an innovative liquid cooling system that significantly reduces the full charging time for electric vehicles. The solution includes a power supply unit with a capacity of up to 720 kW, supporting a 500 A current, as well as the ability to integrate with photovoltaic systems and energy storage.
"The launch of this station is an important step in the development of eco-friendly transportation and digital energy in Uzbekistan. We are grateful to our partners at Huawei for our collaboration and are confident that this project will be a catalyst for further integration of green technologies in the country," said Sarvar Ergashev, Director of "O‘ZIMPEKSALOQA."
Huawei Digital Power continues to expand the use of innovative solutions in the field of clean energy. As noted by Suli Aylaiti, Deputy Director of Huawei in Uzbekistan, the company plans to continue its collaboration with Uzbek partners to reduce carbon footprints and accelerate the transition to a "green" economy.
By the end of 2024, Huawei technologies are expected to generate 1.4 trillion kWh of renewable energy, reducing CO₂ emissions by 710 million tons (equivalent to planting 970 million trees). In Uzbekistan, the company has already implemented a number of projects, including energy storage systems, solar power plants, and a green energy monitoring center.
Huawei and "O‘ZIMPEKSALOQA" plan to further expand the network of fast and superfast charging stations, as well as integrate solutions for smart energy systems and the Internet of Vehicles (IoV). These initiatives aim to create a convenient and eco-friendly infrastructure for the residents and businesses of Uzbekistan.
