Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev has instructed the Cabinet of Ministers to postpone the introduction of new electricity and gas tariffs.
This decision aims to ensure stable energy supplies for the population, businesses, and key economic sectors, while also supporting citizens and enterprises.
According to the Ministry of Energy, the new tariffs, initially set to take effect on 1 April, will now be implemented from 1 May.
As a result, amendments will be made to the Cabinet of Ministers’ resolution from 16 April 2024 to reflect this change.
