How many foreign citizens entered Uzbekistan for tourism purposes?

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- About 1.52 million foreign citizens entered Uzbekistan for tourism purposes, according to preliminary data from the Statistics Agency. in January-March 2024.

Compared to the corresponding period of last year, their number increased by 31,700 people or 2.1%.

Kyrgyz Republic – 442,000 people;

Kazakhstan – 262,600 people;

Russia – 134,200 people;

Turkmenistan – 31,000 people;

Türkiye – 21,500 people;

India – 11,600 people;

China – 10,000 people;

South Korea – 7,600 people;

Germany – 3,800 people;

Other countries – 58,500 people.
