Honey production in Uzbekistan rises 4.8% in the first half of 2025
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Uzbekistan produced 6,600 tons of honey in the first half of 2025, the National Statistics Committee reports, marking a 4.8 percent increase compared to the same period of last year.
By region, the highest production volumes were recorded in Bukhara Region with 1,057 tons and Jizzakh Region with 1,004.8 tons. Ferghana Region (792.3 tons) and Kashkadarya Region (610.3 tons) also made significant contributions.
In the Republic of Karakalpakstan, 533.9 tons were produced, Navoi Region recorded 545 tons, and Khorezm Region produced 506.8 tons.
Production in Andijan Region amounted to 334.2 tons, Surkhandarya Region 318.3 tons, Namangan Region 276.9 tons, and Samarkand Region 261.9 tons.
The lowest outputs were noted in Syrdarya Region with 178.7 tons and Tashkent Region with 169.6 tons.
