Georgia expresses interest in industrial cooperation with Uzbekistan
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 22 May 2025, a delegation led by President of the Georgian Chamber of Commerce and Industry Giorgi Pertaia visited one of Uzbekistan’s largest industrial complexes, TEXNOPARK LLC.
During the visit, the Georgian delegation became acquainted with the enterprise's operations, toured production lines, and assessed the level of technological automation and export capacity. Special interest was shown in production localization, the adoption of innovative solutions, and cooperation between local and international companies.
TEXNOPARK representatives provided a detailed overview of the plant’s current capabilities, export directions, and joint projects with foreign partners such as SAMSUNG and FERROLI. They also highlighted the well-developed industrial ecosystem and the favorable conditions being created for investors and manufacturers.
This visit marks an important step in strengthening business ties between Uzbekistan and Georgia. It underscored the strong interest of Georgian businesses in Uzbekistan’s industrial and technological potential and may lay a solid foundation for launching new joint ventures.
