Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — A Uzbekistan–China business forum was held in Hong Kong, with the participation of Abdullah Azizov, Director of the Agency for the Development of the Pharmaceutical Industry.

The forum featured a detailed presentation on the creation of favorable conditions for investors in Uzbekistan’s pharmaceutical sector, as well as the development of modern cluster-based production facilities.

During the event, negotiations were held with the leadership of leading Chinese pharmaceutical companies Lee’s Pharmaceutical and Zhaoke Ophthalmology.

The parties discussed prospects for bilateral investment cooperation, issues of advanced technology transfer, and the organization of innovative pharmaceutical production in Uzbekistan.
