Foreign Ministers of Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan Discuss Expanded Cooperation in Trade, Transport, and Energy
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Bakhtiyor Saidov, held talks with his Azerbaijani counterpart, Minister of Foreign Affairs Jeyhun Bayramov.
During the meeting, the two sides thoroughly discussed key issues on the bilateral agenda aimed at strengthening the strategic partnership and allied relations between the two countries.
Particular attention was given to expanding cooperation in priority areas — including trade, transport and logistics, energy, as well as the development of cultural and humanitarian ties.
Bakhtiyor Saidov emphasized that one of the main priorities of cooperation remains the clear and timely implementation of all agreements reached at the highest level between the Presidents of Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan.
