Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Uzbekistan to the Sultanate of Oman, Abdusalam Khatamov, and the Ambassador to Kuwait, Ayubkhon Yunusov, visited Ferghana on a working trip, during which they explored opportunities to enhance mutual cooperation and increase the export potential of the region.

The visit was also accompanied by Deputy Hokim of the region, Nuriddin Mamajonov. In the town of Kuvasay, the ambassadors familiarized themselves with the activities of entrepreneurs engaged in cherry cultivation and export.

During their visit to the modern intensive cherry orchard of "UZ-SEGANG" LLC and the "Mirzoanvar Export" farming enterprise, agreements were reached on the export of agricultural products to Kuwait and Oman.

In Rishton, the delegation observed the operations of the foreign enterprise "Kosto Line Holding." The products of the family business "Minboshi Ceramic," led by Shokirjon Akhmadjonov, made a strong impression on the guests.

The ambassadors also visited the agricultural cooperative "Nurt Fruit" in the Oltiarik district, where they were shown the production processes for exported agricultural products.

This visit marks a significant step in boosting the region's export capabilities and fostering closer economic ties with the Gulf states.
